Im Rahmen des Palästinensischen Dialogs über Theater und Theaterpädagogik hatte der Arbeitskreis Kirche und Theater in der Evangelischen Kirche in Deutschland das Ashtar Theatre vom 10. bis 17. April 2016 zu Aufführungen, Diskussionen und Workshops nach Hannover eingeladen.

Taking Detention out of Palestinian Children
The project is unique in that it gathers the energy and commitment of a group of partner organizations in the Hebron Governorate to foster a professional dialogue dynamics necessary for improving the psychosocial well being of Palestinian children who have just been released from detention in Israeli prisons.
Administrative detention, or detention without charge or trial for periods of 3 months, which may be renewed indefinitely, is a major source of trauma for both the detainees and the community as a whole.

Um drei Uhr morgens trifft die deutsche Delegation des Palästinensisch-Deutschen Netzwerkes Masrah.Theater.Net am Sonntag, den 10. Mai müde, aber erwartungsvoll am Flughafen in Tel Aviv ein. Dort wartet bereits der Fahrer, der die Fünf- Mann- und Frau- Starke Gruppe sicher durch die Check-Points nach Ramallah, Palästina bringt.
