The third production of Diyar Dance Theatre. This piece was created to show the hope of the Palestinian people in the midst of conflict.
Diyar Dance Theatre
Diyar Dance Theatre is a recently established group that is composed of 40 talented, enthusiastic and committed dancers, both male and female of different age groups and backgrounds. The group itself is entirely volunteer based, as the dancers are motivated by the vision of Diyar Dance Theatre; to create a forum for young adults to celebrate the Palestinian culture and history through traditional dances, while promoting creativity, imagination and freedom of expression as crucial ingredients of cultural and social development. Such vision is inspired by Diyar Consortiums work, which is to cultivate and empower young leaders through its leadership program.
